Side Effects
Pets can exhibit sensitivity to some of the ingredients in our vitamin formulas. The most common effect is gastrointestinal upset, notably diarrhea or vomiting. If either occurs, we recommend that you reduce the daily use to half for a week before returning to the full amount. Giving the supplement with food may also relieve an upset stomach.

Contraindications
Calming Bliss is NOT recommended for use with tricyclic anti-depressants or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI's). Please ask your veterinarian if you think your pet may be taking these types of medication.

FAQs
Q: I've heard that grapes are toxic to dogs - is that true?
A: Yes, grapes and raisins have been known to cause kidney failure in dogs. However, eating grapes or raisins is not the same as taking a grape seed extract supplement. In fact, the Animal Poison Control Center has stated that grape seed extract is not a threat. Numerous studies have proven grape seed extract to be safe for animals and it is recognized by animal feed officials as a safe ingredient.

Q: Is it true that dogs can get hyperthermia from eating hops?
A: Discarded brewer's hops plugs have caused toxicity in dogs. The hops extract used in Calming Bliss is a different format and is recognized as safe for use in animal feeds. The amount ingested is also a factor, and we use an amount that is both safe and effective for animals.

Q: Can I use Pet Pals® products if I am already giving my pet Rimadyl® or another NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug)?
A: It appears to be safe and may even help protect your pet from possible drug side effects, such as liver damage.

Q: My pet has diagnosed food allergies, what type of flavors do you use?
A: Our products contain vegetarian soy-based flavors. Calming Bliss, Daily Love, and Young-4-Life contain a pork liver flavor.
